Ho ho ho! Who wants to sell their kidneys to fund my Christmas Shopping?

I love Christmastime.

So who heard about the whole Santa thing? Apparently Santa can't say "ho ho ho" anymore because it's offensive. They have to say "ha ha ha". People are so stupid. I heard one radio station suggest that since "ho ho ho" is offensive, "whore whore whore" might be better. ha ha. That's horrible.

Question two. How much would you pay for a snowglobe? I'll tell you how much I wouln't pay: forty-eight dollars. I thought I'd at least start thinking about shopping since everything I bought on Black Friday was for myself(heh heh). So... a lot of people who are... sentimental(old) like knick-knacky gifts, and I figured musical snow globes are nice and pretty/pointless, so I decided to find a snowglobe. Tip: Do not try to buy a snowglobe at Bendel's just because the wrapping paper is nice. It's not even huge and covered in glitter like the ones at the Disney store, although it does conveniently feature the same wrapping paper it comes in. So, years later, the recipient can say "Honey, what sort of wrapping paper did this come in? Oh, right! It's in the snowglobe."

So, since selling friends and relatives I do not appreciate into white slavery would be difficult, none of you will be recieving fancy knick-knacks. Try not to sink beneath your grief.

(rant over)

In other news.... I'm tired, so I'll get back to this later...

xoxo Noelle

ps- Don't forget, the Drama Club Holiday Show is coming up soon! You can see me dressed as an elf. Tempting, right? Right. So come!

NEWS

Before you burst from excitement, none of this news is actually about me.

First up: The Queen, and Why Being Sick Affects Brain Functions. As someone may have noticed,I was not at school today. Usually, this is because I am building weapons in my basement (this is a joke), but today, I was sick. And, as every leading scientist will tell you, BEING SICK IS GROSS. Bleh. So, basically, I just moped around all day like a... moping thing (beware my blindingly impressive vocabulary!). When one is moping, one tends to get desperate for entertainment, which explains why I watched the news for about two hours, at least one of which was devoted to a royal visit by the Queen of England, and (I think) Prince Phillip. A portion of this broadcast (.0002 seconds) was devoted to the diplomatic relationship between England and the US. The rest discussed more important issues, such as what they would be serving for dessert. Now, now, this is an important issue! I'm sure the 12 extra people employed for the creation of this dessert had a major impact on our economy.

Okay, I said this news wasn't about me, and it wasn't, despite the fact that half of it was about me. So... in case you missed it, here's a summary:

QUEENS EAT A LOT OF DESSERT. (This may or may not be true)

On to news topic #2: Sarkozy elected French President. The other thing I watched was a segment about the French presidential election, and the winner: Nicolas Sarkozy. I am greatly relieved, because just yesterday I was quite concerned about the possible shortage of important items in France, namely condoms and flip-flops. I feel much easier in my mind knowing that these issues will soon be dealt with.

You can't tell, but I'm smiling like Sarkozy. :) heh heh heh...

Cheerie-o,

Noelle

The question of the day: "What colors do 5th graders look good in?"

Before you ask: Yes, this is an actual question, asked by an actual person. Yes, this person was serious. No, it wasn't me. Yes, I am alarmed at the state of humanity, especially (as of today) 5th graders.

Cheers,

Noelle

Time Warp

I am currently writing a very short and uninformative research paper on my family history (more on this later). Basically, the general idea of this paper is "look at us! We are English, and strange, and we do many silly things! Also, our ancestors were men who like to sew, and people who did nothing, ever!" Fascinating, isn't it.? Just say yes.

Really, though, this is not as fun as I had anticipated. I have my whole family tree here, but there is only one thing more boring than several pages of who married whom and their children. This thing is gravel, and it is a very close second.

This is not to say that I don't admire and appreciate the work of the woman who put this tree together; she is very brilliant, and frighteningly patient. However, it seems that the main thing that we know about the lives of our ancestors is the one thing that you can not put in a paper: nothing. Which is surprising, because we're not even in the mafia, unlike Jessica, who is sending her cousin Vinny after you at this very moment.(1)

Anyhow, I have managed to uncover a few things. "We are not in the mafia" was one. The other one was "We are related to a man named Mr. Vesley."

Yours almost sincerely, Noelle

(1)- Of course he's not three years old! He's just very short and likes to chew on small objects. Is that a crime? (actually, being in the mafia probably is a crime. I'll double check on the chewing thing)
